Frequently Asked Questions
1.
What is Telemedicine?
Telemedicine and telehealth—terms often used interchangeably—refer to medical services that provide clinical advice and guidance remotely. These consultations are conducted through secure HIPPA compliant video conferencing, messaging, or telephone calls, bringing the doctor’s office directly to you.
2.
Can you send prescriptions?
Yes, we can manage your care just like a traditional doctor's office by sending prescriptions directly to your pharmacy and coordinating lab or imaging orders.
3.
Do you prescribe pain medication?
While we offer expert guidance on pain management strategies, we do not prescribe opioids or other controlled substances, in strict adherence to Florida law.
4.
Do you take insurance?
We do not bill insurance directly, as our practice follows a 'Direct to Patient' care model. However, we are happy to provide you with a 'superbill' (an itemized receipt), which you can submit to your insurance provider to seek potential reimbursement.
