Our only goal is your safety and wellbeing. Due to nature of telemedicine and its limitations there are certain conditions that might require in person evaluation. If you have any of the following symptoms, please proceed to nearby Urgent care of Emergency room:

 

 

 

• Sudden crushing chest pain

• sudden onset shortness of breath 

• facial droop or changes in speech 

• uncontrolled bleeding

• blood in your stool or emesis

• sudden sharp abdominal pain 

• Severe allergic reactions (Anaphylaxis).

• Unexplained heavy bleeding.

• Suspected head injuries or loss of consciousness.

Conditions Requiring Physical Exam

• Telehealth is limited because providers cannot touch, feel, or palpate the patient. 

• Acute abdominal pain: Doctors cannot perform palpation to check for appendicitis, gallstones, or other tender, dangerous masses.

• Undiagnosed, complex ear infections: Difficult to view the eardrum properly with a standard camera.

• Specific, severe skin conditions: A rash that cannot be clearly photographed or needs to be felt to determine texture or raised, subcutaneous elements.

• Musculoskeletal injuries: Deep injuries that require manual manipulation to check for ligament tears or range of motion issues.
